- I've put some thought into this, and I still can't agree. If you had the
- option of spending 100 quid for a RAM expansion, or 200 quid for a full 1200,
- which would you go for? I know what *I* went for.. ;)

- Remember, also, the RAM is going to cost at least 50 quid for any decent
- amount. I paid the equiv. of 90 pounds for my 8Mb SIMM, so why not go the
- whole hog? You'd soon find a >2Mb CD32 a complete pain without a floppy/HD to
- save to.

- When I took my 2000 to be checked over a few days ago, I managed to get along
- with my CD32 - I had Thor installed, and used Aweb to surf the net for about
- three days until I could retrieve the 2000. Point being, it worked quite well
- (if a lot slower than the 040...).
